Southwest Florida has another coffee option, and I had to see what all the buzz was about.
Coffee Rush has officially opened its first Fort Myers location on State Road 82, bringing its family-owned, Oregon roots to Southwest Florida. If you're someone who's always looking for a new coffee stop—or just another excuse to grab a cinnamon roll—this might be worth adding to your list.
One thing that stood out right away was the variety. Yes, they have all the espresso favorites you'd expect, but the menu goes well beyond coffee. They also serve energy drinks, smoothies, teas, breakfast sandwiches, pastries, and oversized cinnamon rolls that are hard to ignore.
During my visit, I ordered an iced mocha, and I'd definitely come back to try more of the menu. The service was quick, and it's easy to see why drive-thru coffee concepts like this are becoming more popular as Southwest Florida continues to grow.
What's especially interesting is that Coffee Rush isn't stopping with one location. The company has already announced another Fort Myers location near Three Oaks Parkway and San Carlos Boulevard, along with a Cape Coral location expected to open later this summer. That's a pretty strong sign they're confident in the demand for quality drive-thru coffee in our area.
As someone who's always exploring what's new around Southwest Florida, I love seeing new local dining and coffee options continue to pop up. Whether you're commuting to work, running errands, or just looking for a new favorite drink, Coffee Rush is worth checking out.
Have you been yet? If so, let me know what you ordered—or tell me what I should try on my next visit. I'm always looking for my next favorite coffee stop.
